I totally agree that if you have thicker hair to use serum. I swear by it. I have even gotten this hair straightener from my mom for a present. THis thing can straighten any hair type. You can put water in it to steam the hair before you pull it straight so you don't damage the hair. It's called : Maxiglide. It has a comb on one side to untangle and really straighten your hair. I put on the serum in my damp hair, blow dry with an ion blow dryer, then straighten my hair and it's so soft, nice a straight, and shiny. I would recommend this to anyone who never can get there hair straight for nothing.

A multi-patented design creates smooth, shiny, straight hair up to five times faster, without the need to blow dry your hair smooth first.
